About Mentorship

However fulfilling it may seem, let’s be honest, walking on the spiritual path can be difficult at times, right? We all need support, comfort, guidance and handholding, especially as we confront our limiting beliefs, self-doubt, self-esteem issues and vulnerabilities. This is where personal mentorship

comes in. The personal mentorship model has been used by Yogis since ancient times. Traditionally it is called the Guru-Shishya Parampara which connotes a spiritual mentor-mentee relationship.

Prasad has been personally mentoring seekers across the world for over 15 years. Backed by his extensive exploration of Yoga over four decades, wide exposure to cultures globally, mastery of 7 languages, experience of handling varied mind-sets and body-types, and above all, deep empathy for fellow humans makes Prasad an ideal guide on your spiritual and professional Yoga path.

Prasad takes his role as a mentor very seriously and is open to mentoring only those who genuinely want to transform and are ready to invest the required discipline, effort and faith. He believes in individuality and there is no ‘one-size fits all’ in his approach to mentoring. This makes him personalize programs holistically including the dimensions of body, breath, perceptions, lifestyle and spiritual practices. Mentorship under Prasad is not a Band-Aid solution. The transformations that occur are holistic, lasting and profound. Prasad is deeply committed to his mentee’s growth and takes immense pleasure in seeing them soar. Mentorship with Prasad has two tracks

Personal Mentorship (Sadhak)

Sadhak means a Yoga seeker in Sanskrit. This track aims to guide the spiritual journey of mentees. Prasad listens with empathy and this is how a mentoring session starts. Patient listening opens the door to recognising, reflecting and discussing. Through discussions the mentee is presented with a wider or alternate perspective to generate clarity of thought. As a policy mentees are never instructed on what decisions to make. Prasad only guides their thought process, opens up perspectives and motivates them to generate clarity of thought and confidence in action. Physical, psychological, spiritual and lifestyle routines are prescribed as part of the program including asana-pranayama practice, meditation guidance, self-reflection exercises, affirmations, mantras and reading recommendations. Program is tweaked as and if required based on consensus.

Professional Mentorship (Shikshak)

professional yoga training

Prasad believes deeply in the power that lies in the hands of every Yoga teacher to make the world a better place. But, the biggest road black to that is their mind-set. Not feeling good-enough, feeling under qualified, attitude towards money, self-doubt, overwhelming social media posts, non-clarity of what one wants are the few things that stop Yogis from excelling at what they do as Yoga teachers. Prasad has guided many Yogis to become successful Yoga teachers, studio owners, retreat leaders, speakers, teacher trainers and counsellors. His Master in Business Administration degree, professional background in advertising industry and certifications in Digital Marketing and Analytics help you play the marketing and social-media game fearlessly like a boss! Prasad helps Yoga professionals define their proposition, tweak their products vis a vis target market, upskill through skill training, develop unique teaching style, develop brand-building strategies, generate confidence to share without worrying about other’s opinion and above all being happy and content doing what they love.
