About
Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit words ‘Yuj’ which means the process of union and ‘Prasad’ which means Grace. The Yogic wisdom of unconditional love, service, discipline, equal vision and faith guides us in balancing our practical and spiritual life. Through the clouds of stress and uncertainty of today’s age, Yoga is truly the right path for us to tread on. Walking on this yogic path and knowing the ‘Self’ is the true ‘Yoga Prasad’ – The Grace of Yoga.
This web site is Prasad’s small but sincere attempt at sharing something that he truly believes in.
Who is Prasad?

Prasad
Prasad’s yoga journey started at the age of 9 when his mother registered him in a yoga class. It was during this time through the practice of Hatha yoga that he started observing the plays of the mind, the movement of the body and the flow of breath. Somewhere deep there was a knowing that he was more than the body and mind. The seed of spiritual exploration was nurtured from his early years by regular mantra chanting and exploration of ancient Indian wisdom of the Vedas.
Growing up in India always used to make Prasad question and contemplate on life, living and existence. It was when he was 16 that he suffered from a near fatal illness and was bed ridden for 4 months. This was when his deeper study of philosophy, Upanishads and yoga texts started to understand himself better. Over a period of time his meditation practice got deeper, repeated periods of silence and isolation, wandering trips to Himalayas, extensive pilgrimages made him find more meaning in what was happening inside. A series of deep mystical super conscious experiences made him come closer to the Divine within and outside. Suddenly it all started making sense. The ONE-ness was evident.
An intense calling from the heart, advice from his guiding Masters and the blessings of Lord Shiva lead him to take up his mission of spreading the divine message of Yoga. Born in the lineage of Samkhya Yogis and later on getting initiated in the Advaita Vedantic Order made him commit towards the ‘non-dual’ firmly.
As Prasad says, over the years Yoga has grown on him and he has grown with Yoga. The more it grows on him the livelier and happier his life becomes. As a teacher he guides people in their journey of Self-acceptance, Self-empowerment and Self-evolution.
Today, Prasad reaches out to thousands of people a year in more than 15 countries across the world with the message of Yoga through his seminars, workshops and retreats. His thoughts, speech and action reflect his commitment towards yogic principles of love, service, discipline, surrender and faith. Following Yoga in its entirety with Love towards all is his practice and teaching.
With the attitude of a learner he keeps learning from Life – The greatest Guru.
